Cowley College Sumner Campus
The new Cowley College Sumner Campus is located on 18 acres in Wellington, Kansas. The Technology Building was the first building on the Campus built in 2018. To accommodate the aggressive construction schedule, a CMaR approach in conjunction with a pre-engineered metal building structure were utilized. The exterior of the building was skinned with special metal panels and brick veneer at strategic locations to enhance the public façade.
The Short General Education Building is the second structure completed on the Cowley College Sumner Campus in Wellington, KS. This Facility was designed to be multi-use; Students, Faculty, and the Community will all utilize the Short Building Classrooms, Lecture Rooms, Administrative Offices, Bookstore, and Community Room that seats 100 people in Banquet Style. A full service Kitchen and Dining area are all part of this 3-level, dynamic building.
